In March 1998, three friends came together to light up Petra by candles, creating a timeless experience.
How it was
Sound and light were thoughtfully added to illuminate the Treasury, enhancing its grandeur and bringing the ancient carvings to life under the night sky.
Under the stars, the flute and Rababah's melodies at the Treasury connected visitors to Petra's heritage, while a photo nearby captured a moment of its timeless history.
We start to operate 3 times a week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with date 2014

Magic of Cultural Show
As of May 2025, Petra by Night has officially launched its groundbreaking projection mapping and immersive art experience. We proudly operate the world’s largest laser show, illuminating the iconic Treasury of Petra.
