General Information

Petra by Night is a guided experience through the ancient city of Petra, including a candle-lit path and a cultural light show at the Treasury. By purchasing a ticket and attending, visitors agree to comply with these terms.

Content Ownership & Copyright Notice

All written and visual content used in our projection mapping show is the exclusive intellectual property of Petra By Night. This includes, but is not limited to, historical narratives, creative storytelling, visual designs, and multimedia elements. The content is copyrighted and trademarked solely for Petra By Night and is not permitted for use, reproduction, or distribution in any form without our prior written consent.

Our projection mapping material has been developed in close consultation with cultural experts and heritage consultants, ensuring it reflects historical theories, cultural insights, and academic foundations. While the content is designed to entertain, it remains rooted in carefully researched interpretations and cultural sensitivity.

Legal Notice

Any unauthorized use, reproduction, adaptation, translation, transmission, or public display of our content without prior written approval from Petra By Night is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal liability under applicable intellectual property laws.

Ticketing & Admission

All visitors must hold a valid Petra by Night ticket for the date of entry.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is canceled by the operator.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Late arrivals up to 09:30 PM may not be admitted past a certain time for safety and show quality reasons.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

In the event of inclement weather or other safety concerns, Petra by Night may be canceled or rescheduled at the discretion of the organizers.
If canceled by operator, visitors may request a refund within 3 days.

Health & Safety

Petra by Night includes a walk of approximately 2 km (each way) on uneven ground. Visitors should wear suitable footwear and be in reasonable physical condition.
Flashlights or torches are not allowed during the candle-lit portion to preserve the ambiance, unless for safety.
Emergency medical staff will be on-site. Please inform the staff of any special needs before the event.

Photography & Filming

Photography is allowed, but no drones, flashes, or tripods during the main show.
Commercial filming or photography requires prior written approval.
Petra by Night reserves the right to take photos or video during the event for promotional use.
Petra by Night reserve the right to use photos or videos taken by clients on our social media.

Conduct

Visitors are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the experience.
Disruptive behavior, intoxication, or harassment of staff or other visitors may result in removal without refund.
Please respect the archaeological site – do not climb, touch, or deface any structures.

Liability Waiver

Visitors attend at their own risk. Petra by Night and its organizers are not liable for injuries, lost items, or accidents unless caused by gross negligence.
By attending, you agree to release the organizers from any claims related to participation in the event.

Accessibility

Due to the terrain, full accessibility for wheelchairs or mobility-impaired guests may be limited. Please contact us in advance for assistance or alternatives.
